Last Wish – A Tribute to Dr. Puneeth Rajkumar

"Last Wish" is my debut Kannada short film, a deeply personal tribute to the beloved Dr. Puneeth Rajkumar, son of the legendary Dr. Rajkumar. This emotionally resonant narrative delves into the profound themes of love, sacrifice, and the enduring strength of familial bonds.

A Story of Unconditional Love

The film tells the heart-wrenching story of a devoted son on a mission to restore his blind father's sight. Driven by unwavering love and determination, he embarks on a tireless search for a suitable eye donor, ultimately succeeding against all odds. Just as hope seems within reach and the surgery is imminent, tragedy strikes—the son loses the funds required for the procedure. In a moment of profound selflessness, he makes the ultimate sacrifice, choosing to donate his own eyes to grant his father the gift of sight.

Through its powerful narrative and emotional depth, the film captures the essence of unconditional love and the extraordinary lengths one would go to for family.
