UB Fitness Center Promotional Video – A Creative Success
I had the opportunity to create a promotional video for the UB Fitness Center, which turned out to be a highly rewarding experience. The video gained significant traction on social media, particularly on Instagram and Twitter, where it was well-received by the university community. Erin, the university’s social media manager, was particularly impressed with the final product.
The entire concept, idea, cinematography, and editing were handled by me. I was also featured in the video, which made the project even more personal and meaningful. It was a unique experience to work on a creative project away from my home country, representing my university through visual storytelling.
The project was shot using my iPhone 15 Pro Max, supported by a single gimbal, with the full cooperation of the gym crew and the gym manager. Having access to shoot freely across the gym allowed me to experiment with creative angles and dynamic shots, enhancing the visual appeal of the final product. Despite the four-hour timeframe, the shoot was smooth and enjoyable, allowing me to sharpen my cinematography skills and explore new creative techniques.
This project not only enhanced my technical expertise but also strengthened my confidence in managing and executing a production independently. The positive reception and engagement on social media reinforced my belief in the power of visual storytelling and the impact of a well-crafted narrative.
