Parade – Part 1: A Story of Betrayal and Vengeance
Overview
"Parade – Part 1" is a gripping narrative about a down-to-earth director who pitches his next film—a story fueled by a seething grudge. Unbeknownst to the producer, the narrative reflects the director’s own tragic past, where jealousy and betrayal shatter a friendship, leading to devastating consequences. As the story unfolds, the question remains: will the truth be revealed, or will vengeance prevail?
My Involvement
I was actively involved in "Parade – Part 1" as an actor, co-director, and screenplay writer. This marked my acting debut, and I was honored to receive praise for my performance. The film was shot over three days in a farm located in a village, providing a raw and authentic backdrop to the intense storyline.
Notably, the film was acquired by Pocket Films, one of the top YouTube channels in Mumbai for short film releases. I also visualized the film’s promo video at Times Square on the TSX screen—an incredible milestone for the project.
Beyond acting and directing, I contributed to the story, crafted the screenplay, and managed the film’s promotional strategy.
Themes and Impact
"Parade – Part 1" stands as a powerful exploration of jealousy, betrayal, and the complexities of human relationships, leaving audiences questioning the true cost of vengeance.
