Story and Themes

Missing God is a serious, divine-genre short film that explores the spiritual connection between God and His disciple. Centered around faith, emotions, anger, and miracles, the story takes an intense and thought-provoking approach to storytelling. When anger collides with God's disciple, an unexpected miracle changes everything, leading the narrative into a powerful emotional and spiritual journey.

Blending mystery, divinity, and emotional depth, the film aims to present a fresh cinematic experience within a genre that is rarely explored in short filmmaking. Through symbolic storytelling and strong emotional moments, Missing God seeks to leave audiences reflecting on faith, humanity, and the unseen forces that shape life.

My Role

For Missing God, I am part of the direction department, assisting the director throughout the creative and production process in multiple aspects of filmmaking. Since the director is also the producer of the project, I have additionally contributed to production-related responsibilities, supporting the overall execution and coordination of the film.

I was also actively involved in the story development process, contributing to building the storyline, developing scenes, and writing a few dialogues that support the emotional and divine tone of the film. Alongside these responsibilities, I worked as an acting mentor for the artists, helping guide performances and bringing out natural emotions and expressions required for the story. This experience allowed me to strengthen my collaborative, creative, and leadership skills while working closely with the team during the development of the film.
