Dvitva: A Reflection on Choices and Regret (Coming Soon)

Overview
Dvitva is my most recent Kannada short film, completed in an impressive 25-day timeline in January 2025. From preproduction to shooting, dubbing, and even the first version of editing, every phase was completed in a remarkably short span. The film will be released in the upcoming months, and it’s a project that holds a personal significance for me as a filmmaker. Coming Soon!
Story and Themes
In the rush of everyday life, we often make choices without realizing their lasting impact. Dvitva is a compelling short film that explores the weight of these decisions, weaving a deeply emotional narrative around ambition, loss, and the haunting nature of regret.
With immersive storytelling and thought-provoking symbolism, the film follows an IT professional’s journey through a series of seemingly ordinary moments that take an unexpected turn. As reality and fate intertwine, Dvitva presents a haunting exploration of human emotions, making the audience question the significance of the choices they make every day.
My Role
As the lead actor, director, and screenwriter, I worked on all aspects of the film, ensuring that the narrative came to life with authenticity and emotional depth. The quick turnaround on this project was a challenge, but it provided me with the opportunity to push my creative boundaries and work under pressure, further enhancing my skills as a filmmaker.
Parting words
I am eager to share this film with audiences, and I hope Dvitva resonates with them on the themes of life, choices, and the profound impact of our actions. Visually striking and emotionally resonant, “Dvitva” is not just a film—it’s an experience that lingers, urging viewers to pause and reflect on what truly matters in life.
